Rupite –Melnik- Rozhenskiy monastery

A trip for lovers of the unusual and mysterious. Visiting the area of Rupite, where Vanga, the soothsayer and healer, lived and was buried. The Rozhen Monastery is one of the few medieval temples that have come down to our days in a form that is close to the original one and has preserved its authentic architecture and monumental painting. Founded in 1220, it is one of the oldest monasteries in Bulgaria. Here is kept the miraculous icon of the Virgin Eleusa / Affection /. Tasting, lunch and free time in Melnik – the smallest and incredibly picturesque Bulgarian town.

10: 00-11: 00 – visit to the area of Rupite / Church “St. Petka Bulgarian”, the grave of Vanga /
11: 20-12: 00 – inspection of the Rozhen Monastery
12: 20-13: 40 – skipping through Melnik and visiting the house-museum of the merchant Kordopulo
13: 50-14: 50 – lunch / soup, salad, the main – meat with a side dish, dessert, a glass of wine, 0.5 liters of water /;
15: 00-16: 00 – free time, return departure
18:00 – return to the resort
